As I reflect upon my journey within the Queens College Student Association, I am reminded of the transformative power of effective communication and creative design. It all began when I received a message inviting me to join the Academic Student Senate, a pivotal moment that set the stage for a remarkable leadership experience.

Stepping into the role of Campus Affairs Chair, I embraced the opportunity to organize and facilitate a multitude of events for clubs and organizations on campus. As a club leader myself, I understood the importance of providing a platform for student voices to be heard and celebrated. But my commitment didn't stop there.

Simultaneously, I embraced the role of a mirror member for the Public Relations team, working tirelessly to bridge the gap between students and administrators. Recognizing the significance of visual representation, I took it upon myself to create designs that embodied the essence of the Student Association. With each design, I aimed to capture the spirit of our organization and its commitment to engaging with the student body. From posters to promotional materials, I ensured that every design was a visual testament to our collective goals and aspirations. Communication became my lifeline, as I sought to foster a sense of unity and understanding among all stakeholders. From crafting impactful emails to celebrating club leaders' birthdays, I believed in the power of personalized and inclusive communication.

Driven by a relentless dedication to student engagement, I eventually assumed the positions of Programming Chair and Campus Affairs Chair concurrently. Balancing the responsibilities of both roles, I continued to create compelling designs while ensuring that the Student Association's outreach efforts were unmatched. I firmly believed that effective communication and visually captivating design were the keys to amplifying our impact and fostering a sense of belonging among students.

The pinnacle of my journey came when I was entrusted with the prestigious role of President of the Student Association. In this position, I led with unwavering determination, striving to uphold our organization's values and mission. Through my presidency, I reinforced the importance of open communication channels, ensuring that students' concerns and ideas were heard, acknowledged, and acted upon.
